Neither ocarina here has the typical Vicinelli stamps. They are being attributed to Cesare Vicinelli based on their design features such as shape, mouthpiece, windway opening, and voicing. Also taken into consideration is their excellent playability, as Vicinelli is considered the “Stradivari of ocarina”. The “camel” ocarina is almost undoubtedly made by Vicinelli, since only he and Cesari had every made ocarinas in such shape. The ocarina in Mi has a stamp on the mouthpiece that is close enough to that of Vicinelli’s.
